Since he was a boy Sam has developed a great working knowledge of tree species and timber, enabling him to single out the best and most interesting materials for his furniture.
He also possesses excellent technical skills, having worked in the film and music industry as a set and lighting designer/engineer before setting up his furniture business.
Sam is married with two daughters. Outside his work he enjoys art, architecture, history, music, cricket, photography and country pursuits.
